Does Your Vehicle Have
Spongy Brakes?

You may have spongy brakes if your brake pedal feels soft and takes too much pedal travel or multiple pumps to stop the vehicle. In many cases the brakes just need to be bled to remove air in the system. Here are causes and solutions for mushy brakes:

Caused by: Air in brake fluid, caused by a leak in the system or overheated brakes.

Solution: Inspect system for leaks and bleed brakes. Consider upgrading brake parts that will resist overheating.
